Angie Hawkins "Fear and Loathing on the Campaing Trail '72" is also a very good book yet in a different way from "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". His keen observations, wit and gonzo style are all there but you'll have to read yourself if you haven't already. I need to re-read it since it's been a while but what he says is still ...relevant to the b.s. of politics today. *sigh* Wish you were here Hunter to see what's going on now and what you'd have to say about all this.
