The man behind one of the most influential reports on climate change, Lord Stern, has highlighted the impact meat production has on greenhouse gas emissions. Part of it comes through methane made by the animals as they digest food. So which farm animals expel the most methane?

Radhadesh The program for Mother Lalasamayi on Monday evening (4th January) will start at 17:30 with bhajans. Various devotees will then tell us about their memories of her, including Yadurani mataji, who will speak about how it was to be with Lalasa when she departed from this world.

Radhadesh There is a feast planned for those at Radhadesh in Lalasamayi's honor at lunch time (13:30) on Monday 4th January. Everyone is welcome. There will also be a gathering in the evening to commemorate the life of this wonderful Vaishnavi.

Radhadesh We got another shock on Sunday when the mother of one of the community's residents, Alakananda Devi Dasi, passed away unexpectedly. Alakananda has now gone home to attend the funeral and take care of her father.

On December 17, 2009, about 120guests attended the formal inauguration of the Belgian Council of Religious Leaders (BCRL) at the Belgian Parliament in Brussels. The guest of honour was the future Queen of Belgium, Her Royal Highness Princess Mathilde, Duchess of Brabant.
