The U.S. Songwriters Hall of Fame has been around since 1969. It's located in New York. The nominees for induction are not chosen by the public, but the public can vote on who gets inducted. You have to become a member in order to vote. If you are not a member of the music industry you only qualify for Lifetime Members...hip, which will cost you a one-time payment of $1000.00.
